Now for my review... 😉

Dear Ms. Anderson,

We need to talk about a visit I received from Camdyn and Beckett. Apparently they were able to feel my sadness when I finished their story. Why was I feeling sad? Because everyone knows that when you absolutely adore a book and connect with the characters, you never want said book to end! But alas, it did. 😭 *le sigh* Anyway, back to their visit. They wanted me to let you know that it's totally fine if you continue on with their story... just for me. Can you believe that?! I was so shocked and excited that I just could not WAIT to tell you! You seriously have the BEST characters! I will be not so patiently waiting for more of their story. 😉

Anxiously waiting,
KJ

P.S. Don't worry... I wont tell a single soul that you're doing this for me. It will be our little secret... I promise! 😉

Y'all! If you couldn't tell by my letter to Ms. Anderson, I absolutely loved this book! But shhhh... don't tell her that I shared it with you. It was supposed to be a secret! 🤫

From the moment I started this book, I did not want to put it down! Camdyn and Beckett quickly became favorites of mine. I couldn't get enough of these two! Their chemistry was sizzling and jumping off the pages! YOWZERS! *fans herself*

I always love when Ms. Anderson releases a new book. I can always count on them to make me laugh out loud, swoon, let out little dreamy sighs and give me that much needed break from reality. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!

As for my casting... this one is kind of a funny story. I picked out my casting BEFORE I saw this gorgeous cover. Y'all. I had to do a double take. Haha. I absolutely adore these two! What do you think?

Rescue a Stubborn Heart by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

She doesn’t believe true love is real.
He thinks he’s too broken for love.
Everything changes when two stubborn hearts meet.

On the run from her ex-husband’s twisted family, Finley seeks help from Jaxon Hudson, the Navy SEAL who rescued her three years ago. Even though she only knew him for a few hours, it was long enough for her to fall in love. But Jaxon’s imminent deployment squashed any hope of a relationship, and he walked away, taking a piece of her heart with him.

Now Finley is older and wiser and not looking for love. So when Jaxon proposes a marriage of convenience and offers the protection of his name, but not his heart, Finley accepts the terms.

There’s only one problem, the spark they had three years ago never died out...placing her in danger of falling for him all over again.

My Review: 5 Stars!

Oh my heart! Y'all! I can't even with this book! I. Can't. Even! 😍

Where do I begin?!

I fell in love with Jaxon when he made his appearance in Catch a Falling Star. There was just something about him that drew me in. I knew from that moment, it was going to take someone pretty amazing to rescue our hero. I never imagined it would be under the guise of him rescuing her.

From the moment Jaxon and Finley met, there was a strong, undeniable connection between the two of them. The pull toward each other was strong, but it just wasn't their time and life ended up taking them in different directions. But life has a way of bringing people back together when they need it the most.

Y'all. There are no words to express how much I love Jaxon and Finley! Their story was so heartachingly beautiful and tugged at my heart strings. The journey back to each other wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. It was filled with hurt, pain, guilt, and doubt. But along the way they found peace, happiness, trust, love, and family. Watching these two broken souls get their happily ever after had me feeling all the feels. The chemistry between these two was sizzling and their kisses had me melting into a big ol' pile of goo! YOWZERS! 😍

Can we just take a moment to talk about little Gracie? She is such a sweet little bundle of joy who melted the hearts of all the Hudson's. Watching Jaxon with her made my heart smile and had me letting out little dreamy sighs. It was adorable! 😍

I am loving this series! I cannot wait to get my hands on Walker and Briar's story. Y'all. The hardest part about loving a series like this is waiting for the next book to be released. Oh how I wish I could just snap my fingers and their book would appear in my hands. But alas, that wish never comes true. I have to keep reminding myself that writing takes time.

You guys. If you haven't read any of Ms. Anderson's books then you are definitely missing out. She's an amazing author and I have loved everything I've read of hers. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!

As for my casting... *dreamy sigh* I am seriously in love! What do you think?!

Catch a Falling Star by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

She dreams of happily ever after. He doesn’t believe in love. What happens if their hearts belong together?

Londyn Montgomery has had enough of doing what her parents want, especially when they’re determined to marry her to a man who isn’t faithful to her. She decides to run away, hoping to find out who she is and what she wants out of life.

In her desire to escape a life of being controlled, she speeds straight past Sheriff Owen Hudson and narrowly avoids a ticket. She vows to stay off his radar, but destiny has other ideas, placing Owen and Londyn on a path that leads straight to a future neither one of them planned for.

My Review: 5 Stars

Londyn Montgomery is tired of living her life the way everyone else thinks she should live it. Every little detail is planned out for her, right down to what she's going to wear and who she's going to marry. But enough is enough. She's determined to take her life back and figure out who the real Londyn Montgomery is.

Because of an incident that happened 10 years ago, Owen Hudson has sworn off women. He doesn't believe in love and there's no way that he'll ever marry. However, he didn't plan on Londyn speeding into his life and making him think twice about the vow he made all those years ago.

The more time Londyn and Owen spend together, the harder it becomes to hide their growing feelings for each other. Neither of them feel like they're in a position to start a new relationship. But as the days go by, they will have to decide which path to take. Do they let fear of the unknown continue to rule their lives? Or do they take a chance on love and see what kind of HEA fate has in store for them?

*dreamy sigh*

Y'all can I just tell you how much I adored this book? By the end of chapter one I knew I was going to love it. And it only got better from there. I loved the interactions between Londyn and Owen. The chemistry between these two was sizzling! *fans herself* Talk about swoony! I couldn't get enough of these two!

Add to that some pretty amazing side characters and you have the perfect afternoon read. I am really loving this small town vibe. I cannot wait to read the other Hudson brothers books. I think I'm most excited for Jaxon. I don't know why, but he's already got my heart.

This is another home run by Ms. Anderson! I love reading her books. I can always count on them to give me a much needed break from reality. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!

And of course we cannot forget about my casting. I. Am. In. Love! What do you think?

The Rogue Warrior by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

His job was to protect her, not fall in love with her.

When Logan Steele is hired to protect an archery champion who is being stalked, the former SEAL automatically assumes his client is a man. Then he meets Weslee Campbell, a beautiful woman with the prettiest light blue eyes he’s ever looked into, and he knows his life is about to change forever. That is, if his fear doesn’t get the best of him. For a man who has faced enemy insurgents, rescued innocent people in the line of fire, and piloted a helicopter without experience to save his SEAL team, he shouldn’t be afraid of anything…yet meeting a pretty girl with a heart of gold has him questioning if he’s brave enough to fall in love.

My Review: 5 Stars

Weslee lost her parents eight months ago in a car accident. She's just getting to the point where she can start living her life again. But there's one thing stopping her. A stalker. They've done everything they can to find him, but he always seems to stay one step ahead of them.

Logan is a retired Navy SEAL who now works for a private security company. When he receives a new assignment to protect an archery champion from a stalker, he assumes said champion is male. But when he walks through the office door and sees the beautiful woman who literally ran into him on the beach, he knows that not only is he in trouble, but that his life is about to change forever.

Over the next few days, Logan does his best to stay focused and only view Weslee as a client. But the chemistry they share is off the charts and hard to ignore. He has sworn off love his entire life but one look from Weslee has him second guessing his choice.

However, before Weslee and Logan can even think of a HEA, they need to find out who's stalking her. When things with her stalker start to escalate, Logan will do anything in his power to keep her safe... even risk his own life. Both Weslee and Logan have too much to live for. There's no way the stalker is ever going to get what he wants. He'll quickly learn that you never underestimate a couple in love who are determined to finally get their HEA.

*dreamy sigh*

You. Guys! Why in the world did I wait so long to read this book?! I. Absolutely. LOVED IT! I adored Weslee and Logan! I couldn't get enough of these two! Their chemistry, their banter, their sizzling, swoony kisses... *dreamy sigh* They were perfect for each other!

I have a confession to make. I have kind of been avoiding the Navy SEAL books. I have read a couple of them and I liked them... but I didn't love them. It seemed like something was missing for me. But, after reading The Rogue Warrior, I've come to the conclusion that I've just been reading the wrong ones! I was sucked in from the very first page and had an extremely hard time putting it down to deal with real life. I may or may not have had some irrational anger towards anything that was not reading this book! ;)

If you're a fan of romantic suspense then I recommend giving this book a try. I loved how Ms. Anderson had me guessing who the "bad guy" was throughout the book. It's always fun reading a book where it isn't totally obvious "whodunit". I do like being surprised every now and then.

I really need to do better at bumping Ms. Anderson's books up on my TBR list when she has a new release! I also need to go back and read some of her books that I'm noticing I missed. I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us!

And can we just take a minute to drool over Logan admire these two?! I think they are perfect! What do you think?

Destiny Came Knocking by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

When Piper Jensen’s dog has a litter of puppies that aren’t anything like their purebred mother, she immediately suspects the culprit responsible for the mishap is her neighbor’s derelict dog. Seeking restitution, Piper confronts the owner, Gabe Wesson, a single father of two children that likes to keep to himself. She isn’t prepared for Gabe to be so handsome, nor so disagreeable, and is irritated by his demands for a paternity test to prove his dog is the sire. As she and Gabe try to work things out, they both fight a growing attraction neither one of them want. But when Piper finds her heart falling in love with his children, it might be the catalyst that tips the scale towards a destiny she never dreamed possible.

My Review: 4.5 Stars

After being humiliated and fired from her last job, Piper decides that she's in need of a fresh start and a change of scenery. When the opportunity to breed her purebred King Charles Cocker Spaniel arises in Snow Valley, MT, she jumps at the chance. Everything seems to be going her way until destiny comes knocking in the form of her neighbors rascally dog, Rascal. Apparently her puppies aren't as purebred and she was lead to believe. She plans to confront her neighbor to see just what he's going to do to make it right. But when she comes face to face with her handsome neighbor and his two adorable children, all thoughts of making him pay fly right out the window.

Gabe isn't' the most trusting of the opposite sex. He has been horribly hurt by his ex-wife and has sworn off women for good. But when his beautiful neighbor shows up on his doorstep informing him of the trouble his dog has caused, he will have to fight with his heart and his head to stick with his convictions. But the more time Piper spends with him and his two kids, the more he realizes that he doesn't want to fight it. He would love the opportunity to see where things can lead with him and Piper.

But when they are faced with Piper's past, the relationship will be tested. Can Gabe find it in himself to trust and move forward with Piper in his life? Or will past hurts rear its ugly head and ruin the chance for their happily ever after?

Destiny Came Knocking is a super cute book! I was sucked in from the beginning and didn't want to put it down! Shane and Lindsey were such a fun addition to the story! The antics of kids can be quite hilarious as well as adorable! These two did not disappoint! I loved seeing all the relationships develop between our hero, heroine and the kids. I am definitely a sucker when it comes to single parents finding love kind of books. Everyone deserves a HEA!

I have to say that Ms. Anderson is definitely becoming a favorite of mine. She has a way of making me feel every single thing the characters are feeling. I laughed out loud, got angry, had my heart drop to my stomach, got teary eyed, let out lots of dreamy sighs and had a permagrin on my face while reading this book. She really is an amazing author and I seriously need to check out more by her! :)

And let's not forget my casting. I think these two are amazing! What do you think?!

Catching Caytie by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

On the night Caytie Holbrook intends to break up with her cheating boyfriend, he blindsides her by announcing their engagement at a dinner party. When Caytie discovers her father is in on the scheme, she runs away from her home in Beverly Hills to hide out at her uncle’s ranch in Snow Valley, Montana. While Snow Valley is a beautiful place, Caytie only plans to stay until her twenty-fifth birthday when she’ll inherit a trust fund her grandmother left her, allowing her to pursue her dream to move to Italy. That is until she meets Jace McAllister, an incredibly sexy—although somewhat grumpy—cowboy who threatens to disrupt her plans.

My Review: 5 Stars

When Caytie discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her, she is determined to break up with him. But before she can, he announces at a dinner party that they are engaged. She looks to her father to straighten everything out only to discover that he is in on the whole scheme. Caytie is determined to not marry Edward and decides to runaway to her uncle's house in Snow Valley, Montana. If she can just make it to her 25th birthday, she'll receive her inheritance from her grandmother and she can continue on with her dreams.

On the way to her uncle's house she has a run in with the sexy cowboy, Jace, and they don't get off to the best of starts. She's feisty, he's grumpy and sparks fly from the beginning. Thinking neither will see the other again, they go their separate ways. But they are both in for a shock when their destination is the same... GH Ranch.

Sparks fly even more between Caytie and Jace. At first neither can stand the other but slowly they let their guards down and their friendship starts to grow. The more time they spend together, the more that friendship grows into something more. Sadly, it isn't all sunshine and roses for these two. More than one obstacle threatens to tear them apart and they have to decide what it is they really want. When they figure this out, they will stop at nothing to make sure they get their HEA.

So... I might be in the minority here but I seriously could not stand Victoria! Maybe it was my mood but she seriously got on my nerves! Granted Jace could have been more forthcoming with the way he felt about her but chica was annoying! And when she was the reason Caytie left, yeah... that sealed it for me... I just didn't like her! And don't get me started on Caytie's father and Edward! Ugh! Let's just say they got what they deserved!

I absolutely loved everyone else in the book though! From Uncle George to Mama Ilene to Kellen... they just added to my enjoyment of the book! But my favorites by far were Caytie and Jace! They were seriously perfect! I loved them! Their relationship was definitely believable and I enjoyed seeing them come together and get their HEA!

I haven't read too many books by Ms. Anderson but the ones that I have read, I loved! I can't wait to read more by her! I think I may have another favorite author to add into the mix! Don't you just love it when that happens?! ;) Hehe.

And of course my casting choice... this one was definitely fun for me! I love these two as Caytie and Jace! What do you think?!

Discovering Sophie by Cindy Roland Anderson

Synopsis:

Sophie Kendrick's father has gone missing in the jungles of Costa Rica. Desperate for answers to his whereabouts, she decides to search for him herself. She hires Jack Mathison to guide her through the jungle, but the two of them seem to be at odds from the moment they meet. Sophie finds Jack conceited, sarcastic, and worse, very good-looking. He is totally not her type, so how could she possibly be attracted to him? Likewise, Jack can't wait to be rid of Sophie and her optimistic outlook. Seriously, how could someone be that nice? Jack isn't looking for a relationship, and finds the electrifying chemistry between the two of them completely annoying. His job is to lead Sophie to a remote village deep inside the rainforest- her fathers last known location. Still, the jungle is a dangerous place and Jack does everything in his power to protect Sophie, but who will protect his heart?

My Review: 4 Stars

Sophie has never been close to her father but that doesn't mean she doesn't love him. He travels quite often to Costa Rica for research and after not hearing from him after awhile she begins to worry. She decides that she is going to head down to Costa Rica to find him. With the help of her best friend Camille and Camille's brother, they help her touch base with an old friend of their's that lives in Costa Rica who will be her guide for the trek to find her father.

Jack has been burned by women before and has completely sworn off ever having a relationship. He really doesn't want anything to do with them. He was lead to believe that Sophie was male not female so when he finds out that that key piece of information had been withheld he flips his lid! He does his best to NOT be the guide for Sophie but plans don't really work out in his favor.

It was pretty much love at first sight for Sophie and Jack, however, they do everything they can to fight their attraction for each other. At times it was a bit on the annoying side but then again at times it was kinda funny too. I loved their banter back and forth. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. They both had things in their lives that they needed to work on before they could be together and I was glad that they took the time to do so.

While I really enjoyed the book there were some parts that kinda dragged for me. I won't go into too much detail but I will say that I was annoyed with Elaina and Peter. They both had a hard time hearing the word NO and I did end up skipping over some parts that they were in. Another part that just had me shaking my head was the whole story line with her dad. I kinda felt a little gypped. After spending as much time as you did reading about that part of the story, it just kinda happened and then fizzled out.

I do have to say that I am not the type of person to read Christian Fiction or any religious type books. That was all I used to read and I kind of got burned out on all the preaching. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised that I not only finished the book, but that I enjoyed it as well! For the parts that got to be a little too much for me personally, I just skimmed over them... no big deal.

Discovering Sophie was the very first book I read by Cindy Roland Anderson and I will definitely be adding more books of hers to my list! It was definitely a fun read! :)

**I received a free copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review**

And yes... I did come up with a casting choice for this one... took a little longer to find my Jack but I am pretty happy with my choices... ;) Hehe.
